In this part of town, notices of unknown origin mix into the bulletin boards and the loudspeaker announcements. The paper ones match the format of the management company’s or the neighborhood association’s own, company name and seal included, yet the date field is always left blank. Those asked whether they had issued them are each said to have answered that the postings were not theirs. Most of the texts cannot be made sense of. The copies bound here are a household notebook kept by a resident of one of the condominium blocks, and a transcription of the estate’s loudspeaker announcements. The first records the autumn when a notice that did make sense was posted; the second holds only the days that could be caught. A sheaf of transcriptions came along the same route — postings from the estate blocks and from the neighborhood association — but much of it lacks dates, and the sorting is still underway.
