D-0005 Please turn off the multifunction printer when you leave for the day

A file on what is said to have recurred: pages resembling minutes in layout, appearing in the morning’s output tray. The pages are said to have carried times, abbreviations apparently assigned from the seating order, and short utterances, set down verbatim. Separate hands have left the same account: later that morning, those present would sometimes speak as the pages had it. What has been gathered are copies, all of them: a private letter with no sender given, a note left for the successor clerk, a few memos apparently belonging to employees of the time, and a few things besides. None of the pages from the tray has been recovered.
